Monday, September 7th
Miss Ashley’s hair is getting pretty long! This was the new hair style she picked out for today.
Jose came up to babysit Emily, David and Ian this afternoon and to join us for our Labor Day BBQ. Jose was babysitting, so Carlos and I could take Ashley on a birthday date. As we were driving in the car Ashley still didn’t know what we were going to do yet.
We took Ashley to the mall and said she could go to any store and pick out a new outfit. She decided to go to H&M, where she picked out a pair of black jeans, a minty green colored jacket and a belt. The big surprise was picking out a new bike!
This is the smile of one happy girl!!!!
Tuesday, September 8th
Here is David working on his math. Can you see the teacher on the screen? David talks back to him when he gives directions or asks a question….its soooo cute!
Tonight we said our goodbyes to Precious Spice. Carlos had me call the kitten rescue center and ask about Precious’ behavior. They decided we should bring her back in the morning. As it turns out, precious, her mom and all her siblings were considered feral when they were rescued. The rescue center wanted to find our family a friendlier cat.
Wednesday, September 9th
Its math time again! I think this is one of their favorite parts of their school day.
We took the boat out for what will probably end up being the last time this summer. We had a good time…..and I even tried out the airhead (our tube).
Thursday, September 10th
Here is David participating in his kindergarten zoom meeting this morning. He is my little shy guy.
I am grateful to have more time with the kids at home right now and to start off the year doing school from home. I am beginning to feel quite busy as we get back in to the new routine of this school year. We will see how things go moving forward.
